INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

General

Roadside Angels collects personal information when you register with Roadside Angels. When you register we ask for information such as your name and email address and may ask for your mailing address with ZIP code and for verification that you are at least 18 years old. On a voluntary basis we may ask for additional information about you and demographic information connected to your memorial. When you register with Roadside Angels and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. However, you may anonymously visit the main pages of our site and such other areas that are not restricted or limited access areas. Roadside Angels uses information for the following general purposes: • improve our website; • to improve customer service; • to establish who has editorial rights to a memorial; • to communicate information relevant to the operation of our website or to your use of our website; and • to administer surveys and conduct research (Roadside Angels reserves the right to amalgamate information for statistical research purposes and to share this information with educational institutions, government agencies and advocacy groups. In all such circumstance no personally identifiable information will be disclosed.)

Children

Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to register with Roadside Angels.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Roadside Angels does not rent, sell, or share personally identifiable information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except under the following circumstances: • to provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Roadside Angels under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Roadside Angels provide its services on our website. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information. • to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. • if we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Roadside Angels’ terms of use, or as otherwise required by law. • if Roadside Angels is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Roadside Angels will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

COOKIES

Roadside Angels uses cookies related to the log in process; it does not use cookies to track a user's web browsing habits.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may allow third parties to provide links to their websites. These third party sites are separate and independent from us and maintain their own independent terms of use and privacy policies. Accordingly, Roadside Angels has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these sites.

YOUR ABILITY TO EDIT AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND PREFERENCES

You can edit or delete your Roadside Angels Account Information at any time. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Roadside Angels service, such as service announcements and administrative messages.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

We limit access to personal information about you to employees and partners (as described above) who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.

Roadside Angels may update this policy at any time in its sole discretion. Significant changes will be posted on this page. The date at the top of this page sets forth the date of the most recent change to this policy. We reserve the right to notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Roadside Angels account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
